Scotland is a wonderful country and well worth visiting. It has everything: breathtaking countryside with mountains, glens and lochs; a beautiful coastline and a myriad of interesting islands; amazing cities to visit and explore;  enough history to satisfy even the most ardent history buff. Castles? Lots!  Festivals? Of course! Whisky distilleries? Too many to count!
